Evelyn bought a medium coffee with cream and sugar then turned to find a place to sit. She found an empty table by the window, placed her paper that she had bought out of a box on the street on the table, put her coffee down beside it and then slid into the tall chair. Once sitting down and comfortable she opened the paper to the classifieds.
She pulled a pen from her bag that she always had with her and started down the long list of possible jobs that were in need of help. She sighed and absentmindedly stirred her cream and sugar into her coffee. Nothing so far had caught her eye, job wise or even man wise since she came to Seattle.
She looked out the window at the rain slicked streets beyond the coffee shop. She liked it better here than the unbearble places she'd seen and been in before moving to Seattle.

It was a extremely raining day, but that did not seem to bother Ridley at all or keep her inside her apartment. She needed to get out and get used to the town. If this was going to be her new home she was going to have to learn her way around. Since she was good with directions she knew that would not take a long time to do at all. With a slip of her hands through her hair Ridley walked into Starbucks with Tyson in tow behind her. Since they got here ha has been underfoot not that ridley minded at all. She loved that little boy as if he was her own.
Ridley looked down at him and gave him a smile, as far as he was concerned she was his mommy and she was going to keep it that way. "Want something to drink sweets?" Tyson nodded his head and she smiled as she made her way over to the counter and let go of his hand for a moment. Ridley ordered herself an eggnog latte and a small apple juice for him. As she handed the girl behind the counter her credit card she looked around. Like any other star bucks she had ever been in at all it wasn’t that packed. Soon enough their drinks were made, Ridley took her credit card back and handed Tyson his apple juice before taking her latte.
She took a sip of her latte as she turned on her heel and looked around for a place to sit. She noticed that there was a empty table near a girl reading the paper. Ridley gently guided Ryder over to the table and sat him down. A small laugh escaped her lips as she watched him get comfortable in the big seat. With a shake of her head she took a seat across from him and crossed her legs. Every day he reminded her of her best friend Kayla and it made her miss her even more than before. Ridley placed her latte down on the table as she looked around before placed her eyes on the girl reading the paper. “Excuse me you wouldn’t by any chance have the sports section would you?”

Eve looked up to see the blonde who was talking to her. The woman had said, well asked. Of course she had the sports section. What kind of paper would it be without one? Eve noded and went through the paper for the sports section just as she had for the classifieds. When she found it she got up and walked over to where the blonde and the only little boy in Starbucks were sitting and handed the blonde woman the sports section. " Here you go." She smiled a pleasant and sweet smile.
